RaceRunning for sports
A RaceRunner is a three wheel running bike without pedals, originally developed by Connie Hansen in 1989.
The sport provides people with disabilities, who usually are bound to electric wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs or walkers, the opportunity to move around by their own force and gives even severely disabled a sense of running freely.
Some use the RaceRunner for recreational walks and runs, others for competing in track and road races. RaceRunning is an ideal sport for people with cerebral palsy, amputations, and other disabilities affecting balance.
