What is Frame Running

Frame Running is a fast growing and exhilarating sport for people of all ages who have impaired mobility or balance.

A Frame Runner is a three-wheel running bike without pedals, originally developed by Connie Hansen in 1989. The sport provides people with disabilities, who usually are bound to electric wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs or walkers, the opportunity to move around by their own force and gives even severely disabled a sense of running freely. Some use the Frame Runner for recreational walks and runs, others for competing in track

and road races. Frame Running is an ideal sport for people with cerebral palsy, amputations, and other disabilities affecting balance.
